Zone Variances – If you are in need of a zone variance for the 2020-2021 school year, please complete the Zone Variance Form. If you already completed a paper copy for next year, you do not need to fill out a new form.


Senior Sunset & Parade – May 22, 2020

GRADUATION CEREMONY DATE ANNOUNCED – The Wildcat Class of 2020 graduation ceremonies will be held during the week of July 22-25 in the LVHS Theater and Gym. Seniors, you should have logged into your CCSD account to fill out the interest survey indicating your intentions for graduation. Due to social distancing guidelines, the number of persons in any space is limited to 50; therefore, participation must be planned and organized. At a later date, a follow-up form will be sent to sign up for a time that best fits your schedule, then we will inform you of your confirmed ceremony date and time.

CCSD INSTRUCTIONAL GUIDE – As school closures continue through the end of the school year, CCSD has released a guide that provides a structure for students and families for learning through distance education. In addition to instruction facilitated by the student’s teacher, Extended Learning Activities are essential to provide students further learning opportunities to promote their mastery of grade-level standards. FOOD DISTRIBUTION Due to increasing temperatures, the hours of operation for the LVHS Food Distribution site will be from 7:00 - 10:00am, Monday through Friday.

LEARNING LINE – In an effort to provide assistance for our families, CCSD has created the Learning Line, a service where CCSD personnel can provide support for all students via telephone to maximize learning through distance education. Please call 702-799-6644 to access the Learning Line. Educators will be available from 8:00am to 4:00pm to assist students in both English and Spanish during scheduled school days.


CCSD WIFI BUSESIn an effort to increase access to learning resources, CCSD Transportation has equipped more than a dozen buses with Wi-Fi to allow students internet access. The school buses are parked at designated locations along 14 routes. ACT TESTING – The ACT organization has released updated information regarding new flexible scheduling for the upcoming summer and fall testing seasons as well as new information regarding their "Test Online at Home" programs. CCSD SUMMER CONNECTIONS – The Clark County School District (CCSD) has launched a new website dedicated to summer learning opportunities for students and we kindly request that our business and community partners help us spread the word throughout our community.

CCSD Summer Connections will be the one-stop-shop website for parents and students to locate information on credit retrieval services, family guides for summer learning, virtual learning opportunities with educational partners, and more. 


Parents and students can visit the site to locate resources from Khan Academy, MAP Accelerator, Actively Learn, Smarty Ants, and myOn. Credit retrieval and credit acceleration options are available through Apex and Nevada Learning Academy. Along with learning opportunities provided on the website, parents can find information about food service distribution, Chromebook deployment, and the Summer Challenge summer reading partnership with public libraries in Southern Nevada.


The CCSD Summer Connections website is a great resource for CCSD families to use in order to keep students engaged with virtual learning over the summer. The website is also available in Spanish by clicking HERE. Parents and students who need login information to access these resources can contact their school for support.

SUMMER SCHOOL – Details regarding the availability and format for summer school are currently in the works and will be posted as the earliest opportunity. Parents may also direct inquiries about summer school to their student's counselor.
