All students in Cohort B will be at school on Thursdays and Fridays.
All students who chose Cohort C will stay online but follow the hybrid schedule.

Wildcat Wins National Award
Congratulations to senior Michelle Madrid for being named as one of the recipients for the 2021 Billy Michal Student Leadership Award. This national award is for leadership and volunteerism.
Michelle will be virtually recognized at the Museum’s American Spirit Awards program taking place June 18th.

Las Vegas High School Student Council has been recognized as a 2021 National Gold Council of Excellence. To meet the requirements for the National Council of Excellence Award, a student council must meet a variety of criteria. In addition to basic requirements such as a written constitution, regular meetings, a democratic election process, the councils have demonstrated successful sponsorship and participation in activities such as leadership development and service to the school and community.

Class of 2021 Graduation - Graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 28th at 7:30pm. We are under Governor Sisolak’s guidelines and as the date approaches we will be able to finalize preparations.

RECONNECT CCSD- The Clark County School District has created a website to help find information regarding the 20-21 school year. It can be found by clicking the link here. A Spanish version can be found here.
FIXING CHROMEBOOKS- Some Chromebooks are out of date from being shut down for so long because of school closure. Students/parents can manually update the Chromebook manually to be able to run Canvas. Please use the link here and follow instructions, specifically the "Check for updates yourself" section on how to update your Chromebook.

LEARNING LINE – In an effort to provide assistance for our families, CCSD has created the Learning Line, a service where CCSD personnel can provide support for all students via telephone to maximize learning through distance education. Please call 702-799-6644 to access the Learning Line. Educators will be available from 8:00am to 4:00pm to assist students in both English and Spanish during scheduled school days.
SUPPORT LVHS AND OTHER CCSD SCHOOLS- The CCSD Support A School Program is looking for donations. Is there something you or your business no
longer needs that a school can put to good use? Would you like to provide your neighborhood schools with items they need? Click on the link to find out how you can help LVHS and other schools.
MEAL DISTRIBUTION- Rules for picking up breakfast and lunch at LVHS are changing. Please read the following document on how to register to pick up food beginning August 24th. The time to pick up food at LVHS is changing. Food will be from 11am to 2pm.
REUNION CANCELLED – From the LVHS Alumni Association... "The 2020 Wildcat Reunion has been cancelled. Hopefully we'll be back to normal by next year, so please save the date of October 16th, 2021 for the next reunion. We're really sad to have to cancel and will miss seeing everyone. Please stay well and take care!"
