Message from School Nurse

Parents and Guardians,  please utilize the new CCSD COVID-19 Parent/Guardian hotline to report the following:  your student's positive COVID test result, your child's recent exposure to a COVID positive individual or if your child is experiencing Covid-like symptoms (fever, cough, headache, excessive tiredness, body/muscle aches, loss of smell/taste). The CCSD COVID-19 Parent/Guardian Hotline is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and can be reached by calling 702-799-4322. If unable to get through, you can submit information through the Covid-19 Parent/Guardian Hotline Submission.  Students experiencing symptoms should remain home until their symptoms improve. Free COVID -19 testing options are available at the Southern Nevada Health District and vaccination resources are available at the Southern Nevada Health District Website.

              Tickets to LVHS Athletic Events

This year, CCSD and LVHS have launched a new ticketless program for fans to attend sporting events at Las Vegas High School.   No more tickets will be sold in person.   If you want to attend a Las Vegas High School sporting event, you must go here to purchase tickets. 



If you have a QR reader you can also scan the QR code.  It will take you to the website to purchase tickets.

PURCHASING TICKETS FOR ATHLETICS- CCSD has changed the way they are handling tickets for athletic events. All events are now ticketless.  Please go here to purchase tickets to LVHS athletic events. 

TITLE 1- Las Vegas High School received a preliminary Title I budget allocation of $608,895.00 for the 2021-2022 school year. If you have questions about how the Title I funds are utilized, please contact Assistant Principal Nancy Paredes at

NEED INTERNET?-   If you are in need of Internet for your home please visit or call the Family Resource Center at (888) 616-2476.  English and Spanish-speaking operators are available Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m.  to 6 p.m. 

FIXING CHROMEBOOKS-  Some Chromebooks are out of date from being shut down for so long because of school closure. Students/parents can manually update the Chromebook manually to be able to run Canvas. Please use the link here and follow instructions, specifically the "Check for updates yourself" section on how to update your Chromebook.
